Keith Hance practices primarily in the areas of real estate law and civil litigation. He has been in private practice in Gaston County since 1995 and is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Gaston County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association, Real Property Section.
Mr. Hance is a regular lecturer in Gaston College's small business seminar series. He also addresses realtor groups about real estate issues.
In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Hance is President of the board of directors of the Mediation Center of the Southern Piedmont. Mr. Hance also volunteers with the annual high school Moot Court competition.
Julie Hance's practice includes real estate law and corporate work. Mrs. Hance graduated from college at the age of 19 with a Bachelor of Science degree in a pre-med program. Admitted to both the North Carolina and the Ohio State Bars, Mrs. Hance has been in private practice since 1995. Mrs. Hance is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Gaston County Bar Association.
Mrs. Hance was the Business and Professional Women Organization's 1998 "Young Careerist." She is also a member of the board of directors of the Christian Women Job Corps. In 2005, Mrs. Hance completed a tsunami relief mission trip to Sri Lanka where she helped build houses and distribute food and clothing.
The Hances live in Cherryville with their 3 children.
Alex Rector is a new associate attorney at Hance & Hance, leading the firms employment and estate administration practice areas. A graduate of Campbell University in 2012, Alex won the Senior's Excellence Award for Most Outstanding Economics Student. Alex then took a year off before law school and served as Clerk for the House Finance Committee at the North Carolina General Assembly. Alex graduated from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2016 and won the Most Improved Student Award, participated in the Stubbs Bankruptcy Clinic, the Richard Lord Moot Court Competition, and interned at the North Carolina Supreme Court and the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
Alex lives in Charlotte with his fiancé Emily, and enjoys playing competitive tennis in his free time.
